The NKADD is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of Case Management Supervisor - Medicaid Waiver to provide supervision and management of case managers who assist Medicaid Waiver Consumers. This position is responsible for the daily supervision and direction of staff including day-to-day clinical support, review of and adherence to policy and procedures, oversight of all assessment and case management functions, as well as assistance with complex client situations. Additional responsibilities include program management responsibilities; planning and participation in monthly meetings; limited coverage of caseloads; and collaboration with internal and external partners, other agencies, and stakeholders. The individual in this position must be able to successfully cultivate and maintain workplace relationships. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to create and inspire a cohesive team through the facilitation of a collaborative, respectful, and diverse work environment.
Four-year college or university degree in the field of Human Services such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, RN or related degree and at least 1 year of experience in the field of health and human services required. Both education and experience must be validated. Prior experience in a leadership, management, or supervisory role is strongly preferred. Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Must possess strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills with the ability to independently exercise sound judgement. High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability for actions is necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to complete home visits; some district travel is required. Reporting and public speaking skills desired. Experience with Medicaid Waiver preferred.
