The NKADD’s Workforce Division is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of Workforce Development Specialist – Compliance & Policy Analyst. This position will be an integral member of the NKADD Workforce Division, responsible for support of operational aspects of the work including records management and compliance - including preparation of reports, gathering and organizing information and coordinating externally facing presentations and reports in order to support achievement of organizational goals. The employee will be expected to handle a variety of duties including records management and retention for the agency, serving as communications point person for the Division, organizing meetings and events with various partner agencies, and supporting the Workforce Investment Board through various administrative assignments. The ideal candidate also will be able to read and summarize policy documents and development-related reports. Records management, creating organizational systems for electronic and paper files, and monitoring compliance calendars for various grants are among the essential responsibilities in this role, which will support the Northern Kentucky Workforce Investment Board.
Completion of at least a Bachelor’s degree. A combination of training and experience will be considered. The ideal candidate for this position is a well-organized, self-starter with excellent customer service skills. Strong administrative skills including fluency in the Microsoft Office suite required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task while effectively prioritizing assignments and will be capable of working independently as well as accepting direction on given assignments. Maintaining positive work relationships and a professional demeanor is critical to this role.
