Help Identify Transit Needs of Elderly, Disabled, and Veterans

January 2, 2018

To:                   Public Transportation Providers & Users

From:               Northern Kentucky Area Development District

The Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) is conducting a meeting to identify unmet public transit needs in the region, primarily regarding elderly persons, disabled persons, and veterans. Following this meeting all needs will be assessed and potential funding sources reviewed. Where possible the needs identified will be used to develop FY 2019 Sections 5310 and 5311 transit grant applications, however preparing a request does not guarantee that service will be provided.

In order to thoroughly assess the needs of the region, a public input meeting has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the NKADD, 22 Spiral Drive, Florence, KY 41042.

If you have questions regarding this public input process or would like to submit written comments please contact Stephanie King at (859) 283-1885 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
